Job: Sales Representative, Digital Media. New York Metro film tv

We are looking for an exceptional, personable and enthusiastic Sales Representative/Account Manager. Must be a go-getter! Should have background in technology, broadcast, television or radio preferably, with at least 2 years experience.

The Sales Representative will be responsible for prospecting, pitching, and closing new business while simultaneously growing revenue through developing strategic relationships with existing clients across North America for the company's occasional use service portfolio. This position requires self-direction and appetite for learning the ever-changing media landscape and technology trends to create win-win business partnerships with clients. The position reports directly to the VP, sales.

Responsibilities:
? Source new prospects and clients for our OU business within the New York Metro area
? Explain our services in simple, effective and persuasive terms
? Collaborating with your Sales Director to prepare and present competitive sales proposals
? Developing and maintaining strong business relationships with assigned accounts as well as new clients, starting with small to medium-size businesses and working your way up to larger businesses
? Work closely with operations and engineering colleagues to meet sales goals
? Maintain a deep and clear understanding of our customers' business and how and why they use our services
? Accurately represent the voice of the customer within our organization, allowing all areas of the company to better serve them and develop solutions that enable their success
? Achieve assigned revenue/profit targets overall and by customer/user

Qualifications:
? Minimum of 2 years of direct business-to-business sales experience in the media or related industry; college degree preferred
? Self-directed and self-motivated, must have proven track record at achieving sales and revenue/profit targets
? Exceptional listening skills are a must, as are written and verbal communication skills
? Experience using CRM tools, Salesforce.com, preferred

Work Environment:
Overall, this is an administrative position within an office environmen and has no unusual physical demands. This position requires at least 50% travel depending on the individual's home base/office location.
