BEIJING -- Fresh from the success of "Aftershock" and "If You Are The One 2," China's most bankable helmer Feng Xiaogang is working on a new disaster epic, about a 1942 drought that killed three million people in Henan province.Feng's long-term collaborators Huayi Brothers will invest $23 million in the production, and Feng is hopeful of a summer 2012 release.The earthquake epic "Aftershock" brought in $103 million last year. He said in a live webcast on the Chinese portal Sina.com that the pic would be an adaptation of Liu Zhenyun's 1993 novel called "Remembering 1942."
