The second season of HBO's New Orleans-set drama ''Treme'' opened to 740,000 viewers for its two combined showings Sunday night. Its 10 p.m. initial telecast drew 605,000 viewers, significantly down from the 1.1 million who tuned in to the series premiere a year ago. In its second week, ''Game of Thrones'' scored 2.2 million viewers for its 9 p.m. episode, and another 732,000 at 11 o'clock. That's just about what it drew a week ago for its series launch. The cabler, which renewed the series for a second season last week, has put plenty of marketing muscle behind the fantasy skein, based on the works of writer George R.R. Martin.
