Miracle Cancer Drug Found | TopNews United States

It has been reported that a drug which has the potential of treating almost 90% of all the cancer types has been tested for the very first time on human. If the drug proves successful then it could help in reducing the mortality rate occurring due to cancer.

The new drug targets particular protein called MUC1, which found present in almost all type of cancers. The common cancers like breast cancer, prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer and stomach cancer are also treatable by the newly found miracle drug.

The researchers studying the drug have informed that the vaccine works by encouraging the immune system to detect the cancer cells and to treat them. Initially, the drug was tested on mice, suffering with breast cancer. When the drug was administered to the mice dramatic results were experienced by the researchers.

The researchers of Vaxil Biotheraputics and Tel Aviv University have been studying the drug. They have noted that the drug can show positive outcomes in patients suffering with cancer. In the human trial, ten patients suffering with blood cancer as known as multiple myeloma were provided with the vaccination.

The trail was conducted at the Hadassah Medical Centre located in Jerusalem. It has been informed by the researchers of the Vaxil Biotheraputics that seven patients out of ten have showed positive outcome. There immune system has strengthened to fight against the cancer cells.

Dr. Caitlin Palframan of Breakthrough Breast Cancer was reported as saying ?This exciting new approach could lead to treatments for breast cancer patients who have few options. It also opens up the possibility of vaccinating high-risk women against breast cancer in the future?. It is hoped that the drug would soon be made available for medical use and thus would help in saving lives from cancer.
