January Trial Date for Woman Charged in SAU Horses Theft

A 2013 trial date has been set for a woman charged in connection with the case of five horses stolen from the stables at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia last year.

Wendi Cox, 38, faces a jury in January for her alleged role in the November 2011 crime.

Four of the horses were later recovered alive but the fifth one was found dead.

Cox's daughter, Jaci Jackson, 18, is also charged in the case and also goes on trial next year.
